Living with anxiety?

Physically, anxiety might feel like chronic tension, headaches, digestive issues, or constant fatigue. You may notice your heart racing or experience shortness of breath.

Emotionally, you might feel trapped in constant worry, restlessness, or irritability, with a sense of fear that doesn’t seem to go away.

Relationally, anxiety can make it hard to connect with others. You might avoid social situations, feel easily frustrated, or experience a sense of disconnection in your relationships.

Trapped in Depression?

Physically, depression often shows up as exhaustion, trouble sleeping, changes in appetite or weight, or even unexplained aches and pains.

Emotionally, it can feel like a heavy weight of hopelessness, sadness, or guilt, and activities you once enjoyed may no longer bring you pleasure.

Relationally, you might find yourself withdrawing from loved ones or struggling to communicate your needs. It’s common to feel isolated or disconnected from the people who matter most.

dealing with unprocessed Trauma?

Physically, trauma can leave you feeling hyper-alert, easily startled, and dealing with chronic pain or sleep issues.

Emotionally, you may experience flashbacks, nightmares, overwhelming emotions, or even emotional numbness. Trauma can make it feel like you’re stuck in survival mode.

Relationally, it can be hard to trust others, build intimacy, or feel safe in relationships. You may feel disconnected, or struggle to open up and be vulnerable with loved ones.

stuck in Difficult Relationships?

Physically, ongoing relationship stress can contribute to headaches, tension, or digestive problems, and may leave you feeling drained or constantly on edge.

Emotionally, you may feel trapped in cycles of conflict, resentment, or emotional pain. Constant feelings of rejection, fear of abandonment, or unmet needs can surface.

Relationally, you might be experiencing frequent misunderstandings, lack of communication, or emotional distance. Whether in romantic relationships, family dynamics, or friendships, feeling disconnected, unappreciated, or unsupported can leave you feeling lonely and frustrated.

here’s how I like to work

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

I use Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which is a body centered way to process blocks caused by past trauma and old wounds. This modality allows you to develop awareness and increase choice as you learn to understand the wisdom of the body.

SP works well for nervous system regulation (which helps everything!) and addressing trauma.

  • Internal Family systems

I work with Internal Family Systems to help you explore your inner world by getting to know different “parts” of yourself. In session we might work to contact a wounded child part or an inner critic. Together we will work toward allowing the most wise part of to you lead your internal world.

I use IFS to work with anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and other symptoms

  • Relationships

Relationships are hard. I help couples learn ways to communicate about the hard things like sex, money, in-laws, and parenting. I work to help people stand up for themselves (anyone in relationship with a narcissist?) and by addressing power dynamics in the relationship and leaning to set appropriate and healthy boundaries. I will teach you a how to handle conflict and create a repair routine that works.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

In ACT I help clients identify their values, which are behaviors in action. We work to identify what stands in between you and valued living. By developing mindfulness and awareness in the preset moment, we find a new way to relate to life’s challenge.
